Case studies

Adding a bedroom and bathroom, Ladywell, South London

We extended upwards and to the rear to transform a three-bedroom house with one bathroom by adding a bedroom, two bathrooms and three toilets.

To start, we took the house back to bare brick and the completed a full electrical rewiring with new consumer unit, or fusebox. We installed a new heating system including a new boiler and radiators, plus underfloor heating in the kitchen, dining room, main bathroom and master bedroom en-suite.

A new kitchen, featuring granite worktops and marble-tiled floor, was also fitted. We supplied new doors, skirting and architraves throughout, and supplied and fitted new UPVC windows and a patio door to the rear. In the garden we built a split-level wooden decking area, and refurbished the double garage.

Adding a side and rear extension, Croydon, Surrey

For a previous client, we demolished a small side extension and built a double-height side extension and a single-floor rear extension.

The ground floor of the side extension comprised a garage at the front, with a utility room, pantry and cloakroom at the rear. The upper floor housed two bedrooms and a bathroom. The rear extension added a dining room to the rear of the existing kitchen.
